How to use Nerta Anti-Insect

1. Pre-rinse the affected area with cool water if the surface is hot.
2. Spray Anti-Insect directly onto bug-soiled bonnet, windscreen, grille and headlights.
3. Allow a short dwell time of 1–3 minutes — do not let the product dry on the surface.
4. Agitate stubborn spots with a soft bug sponge if needed.
5. Rinse off thoroughly with clean water before continuing the contact wash.

FAQs

Will the alkaline formula damage clearcoat or matte paint if left on too long?
If allowed to dry on the surface, alkaline residue can leave water marks. Always rinse before drying. On matte paint test a small area first and keep dwell time short.

Can I use it on a hot bonnet straight after a motorway drive?
No — wait for the bonnet to cool or pre-rinse with cold water first. Hot panels can flash-dry the chemistry and cause spotting.

Is it safe on plastic headlight lenses or will it cloud them?
It is safe on polycarbonate headlight lenses at recommended dwell time. Avoid prolonged contact and rinse thoroughly to keep lenses crystal-clear.

Will it work on stubborn bee or wasp residue that has baked on overnight?
Yes — for fully dried-on residue, apply, dwell 2–3 minutes, agitate gently with a bug sponge, then re-apply if needed before rinsing.
