Nerta Traffic Foam Cleaner

Nerta Traffic Foam Cleaner is a heavy-duty alkaline traffic film remover (TFR) that produces a thick clinging foam to lift static traffic film, road grime, light grease and salt from cars, vans, HGVs and fleet vehicles before the contact wash.

Its strong alkaline chemistry (pH ~11) is engineered for industrial wash bays, MOT centres and HGV operators dealing with heavy motorway grime that pH-neutral pre-wash foams simply cannot shift.

This is a concentrated alkaline TFR and must be diluted before use.

How to use Traffic Foam Cleaner

1. Pre-rinse the vehicle thoroughly with high-pressure water.
2. Dilute Traffic Foam Cleaner as required for the contamination level.
3. Apply via foam lance or sprayer, working from the bottom upwards.
4. Allow 3–5 minutes dwell on the surface — do not let it dry.
5. Rinse off thoroughly with clean water before contact washing.

FAQs

How does this differ from Foam Cleaner Yellow or Sky WE 64?
All three are alkaline TFRs. Traffic Foam is the workhorse mid-strength option; Yellow is colour-coded for visual coverage; Sky WE 64 is engineered for the toughest HGV grime.

Will it strip wax and sealant on a fleet car if used weekly?
Yes — at pH 11 expect wax and sealant to be stripped over time. Use Traffic Foam where heavy cleaning is the priority, not where long-term protection is the goal.

Is it safe on a hot HGV trailer fresh off a motorway run?
Pre-rinse with cool water first to drop the surface temperature. Applying alkaline TFR to a hot panel risks flash-drying and streaking.

Can it be diluted weaker for routine fleet washing without stripping protection?
For lighter routine grime, dilute heavily (1:50 or weaker) to soften the cleaning action. For full sealant safety, switch to a pH-neutral pre-wash instead.
