Nerta ATC 300 is a highly concentrated acid-based wheel cleaner and traffic film remover formulated for professional use on heavy brake dust, mineral build-up and stubborn road contamination on alloy and steel wheels, HGV trailers and commercial vehicles.

This is a strong-acid concentrate (pH ~2) designed for stubborn jobs where pH-neutral wheel cleaners cannot keep up. Always dilute correctly, apply to a cool wheel, work quickly and rinse thoroughly with water before any product can dry on the surface.

How to use Nerta ATC 300

1. Wear acid-rated chemical gloves, eye protection and protective clothing.
2. Pre-rinse wheels with cold water to cool the surface and remove loose dirt.
3. Dilute ATC 300 as required for the contamination level (heavily diluted for routine, stronger for very stubborn jobs).
4. Spray onto cool wheels and allow only a very short dwell time (around 30–60 seconds).
5. Agitate with a wheel brush if needed but do not allow the product to dry on the surface.
6. Rinse off thoroughly with high-pressure clean water from top to bottom.

FAQs

Is it safe for daily use on diamond-cut or polished alloy wheels?
No — strong acids can attack the lacquer on diamond-cut alloys and dull polished finishes. Only use on diamond-cut or polished alloys very heavily diluted, or choose a pH-neutral wheel cleaner instead.

What dwell time is safe before rinsing on a hot wheel?
Never apply to a hot wheel. On cool wheels keep dwell to 30–60 seconds and rinse before any sign of drying. Heat dramatically accelerates etching risk.

Can I leave it on if I am pulled away mid-job?
No — if you cannot finish the rinse stage immediately, apply to one wheel at a time. ATC 300 must never dry on a wheel surface.

How does ATC 300 differ from ATC 100, 200 and 400?
The ATC range steps up in strength: ATC 100 is the mildest, ATC 200 is a workhorse mid-strength, ATC 300 is for heavy contamination, ATC 400 is the strongest professional-only grade.
